“MOVE MOVE, LET’S GO EMILIO, HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT!!
These words echoing in his ears as he flips the massive tire outside Flex Gym in LaSalle. His hands covered with dirt and sweat from working with the various stones, tires and sledgehammers. Marc Carangi part owner of ATP sports performance clinic located in Flex Gym in Ville LaSalle, looks over everything he does, pushing him past his personal limits. Day after day, this young soccer hopeful pushes himself. Hard work and pain are nothing new to the LaSalle native.
Emilio now 20 years of age is moving into his third season at St-Lawrence University where he was recently named captain. Coming off an excellent season where he was named First Team All Conference, D3Kicks 3rd Team Regional, and 2nd Team Regional All American, not to mention posting 8 shutouts leading the league he is eager to return to school and perform even better. “Hard Work is the way to success” a line he often says to family and friends when they ask him why he trains as he does. Having played his developmental years in Montreal, he started in LaSalle then moving to the Lac St-Louis Lakers ultimately finding a place with the provincial squad and the Canadian National Training Program. Now he has another great opportunity before he heads back to school having been given a chance to train with the MLS team, the Houston Dynamo.
For the week of August 12th to the 18th he will be in Houston Texas training alongside some of the best. “It is going to be a great experience for me to play with guys like Pat Onstad and Zack Wells, among many others”. Emilio trained with Centre ATP (Athletic Training Performance) and credits them with helping him reach a new level. Whatever the future holds for this bright young soccer player, we all wish him luck in Houston and also with his upcoming season at St-Lawrence.

Since I can remember, I've always been physically active, playing numerous sports throughout my athletic career. From basketball, to track and field in high school, or to soccer at a national and semi-professional level, I have always kept in shape.
Due to a recent career change, I found myself being faced with an overwhelming challenge. My decision to become a police officer would require me to pass several physical requirements. I was able to rely on my natural physical abilities in order to pass initial testing but found myself unfulfilled settling for mediocre performances. I reluctantly decided to seek out a personal trainer even though I was convinced that my training regimen was adequate.
Jonathan Patenaude came highly recommended from a friend and fellow police officer. During our initial consultation, I was quickly impressed with his support and determination to push me to levels which at first seemed unattainable. His experience and vast knowledge in fitness and nutrition enabled him to put together a personalized program balancing the right amount of weight training, cardio and diet to meet my needs. Jonathan kept my workouts different and interesting. He had the unique ability to challenge me, push me to my limits and keep me coming back for more.
Not only did Jonathan help me surpass my goals, but he changed my way of life. I was never an avid gym goer, and now I can't picture my life without it. I could not have made the progress that I did without him. I am certain that if you put your trust in Jonathan, you will achieve and go beyond your goals the way I did.

As a stage performer, it is vital that I be in great physical condition. Along with the pressures from the entertainment business to look my best, singing while dancing can be quite challenging.
ATP provided me with an extensive program wonderfully designed to challenge my weaknesses and strengthen my body overall. Each exercise challenges several muscle groups all at once, which I find very useful when I’m pressed for time.
In addition to creating custom-made programs that suit your individual needs, ATP creates interesting and imaginative exercises that make it impossible to get bored with.
The ATP team was very accommodating and generous with their time in explaining the right and wrong way of executing each exercise. It was of their utmost concern that I understood exactly what I was doing and why. As a result, I am much more engaged in my workout and I have seen incredible results.
With much enthusiasm, I would definitely recommend ATP Centre to anyone who’s looking to challenge and improve his or her body and quality of life.

Entraîneur de water-polo du « Tiburon de LaSalle »
Incorporant des éléments provenant de disciplines aussi diverses que les arts martiaux et le yoga le "Boot Camp" est à mon avis LE "Swiss Army Knife" du conditionnement physique à l'extérieur d'une piscine. Cet outil indispensable pour tous les athlètes sérieux est un concentré d'exercices intenses impliquant absolument tous les groupes musculaires tout en particulièrement ciblant le système cardio-vasculaire. Faisant preuve d'une créativité inouïe car chaque "Boot Camp" est différent des précédents, les ateliers peuvent être autant individuels qu'en équipe, avec ou sans accessoires (sans jamais recourir aux machines) et offrent aux participants plusieurs niveaux de difficulté et/ou d'intensité. Pour développer votre VO2Max, endurance, force, flexibilité, temps de réaction, coordination et le fameux "Mental Toughness" en 75 minutes par semaine, je vous défie de trouver mieux. Moi-même un adepte, j'encourage fortement toute mon équipe à y participer. Merci l'équipe ATP!
